1. What are the types of school education we are offering?
Ans. We are offering International Education from preschool to Primary. Leading to foreign education in Pakistan and abroad.
2. What is this International Education system?
Ans. We are preparing the students for Cambridge International Examinations (CIE).
3. What levels of franchise are available?
Ans. Franchises are available for Pre-school to primary.
4. What franchise license fee has to be paid for these level? Is any part of the fee refundable?
Ans. The fee for these levels is as following: Pre-school to O Levels Rs. 1.2 million Fee paid for franchise is non-refundable.
5. How can I become a franchisee?
Ans. To become a franchisee, you are to fill in the application form and attached a DD/Cheque of Rs. 200,000/- in favour of “The OKUL International School” (refundable in case the application is rejected). For further details you may contact our sales team at 0330-5921977.
6.Can franchise license fee be made in part payment?
Ans. The license fee has to be made in full. However, request to pay in parts can be made, with balance amount postdate cheques. (Conditions Apply)
7.When is the licensed fee to be paid?
Ans. The fee is to be paid at the time of signing the MOU.
8.Will the royalty be paid on revenue or net income?
Ans. Royalty will be paid on gross revenue.
9.How much royalty is to be paid by the franchisee?
Ans. The franchisee is to pay 7.5% of the gross revenue per year.
10. Where will the school revenue be deposited?
Ans. The school revenues will be deposited in the designated banks for which our accounts department will guide you.
11. Will the license fee paid is refundable?
Ans. Fee paid for franchise is non-refundable. In case the franchisee fails to establish the campus the license fee will be refunded after deducting 10% of the total amount paid.
12. Are the franchisee rights transferrable to a third party?
Ans. They are transferrable only if the parties concerned agree to do so. After the final approval of the head office.
13. Will this license fee be one time or renewable?
Ans. The license fee is to be paid once but the contract will be renewed after every 10 years through mutual consent.
14. What support will the franchisee get from the Head Office?
Ans. Head Office will support the franchisee in the following aspects:
- Designing and architecture plan for the building.
- Classrooms and office Furniture design.
- Classrooms designs.
- Customize syllabuses
- Lesson plans
- Human Resource support
- Nationwide marketing and image building support
- Marketing plan for franchise campus (complete designing/TV cable ad)

15. How will Head Office help the franchisee with their management system and academic system?
Ans: Head Office has developed a very comprehensive system of training, and running of its academic programmes.
After the recruitment of the school staff including Principal and the other managerial staff is finalized, our Management Training Department will provide complete orientation and training to the appointed staff members. Some of our popular training topics include:

16. What is the criterion for becoming a franchisee?
Ans. The franchisee should have a sound educational background or have a strong inclination for the promotion of the education with a strong financial background.
18. What are the building requirements of the schools?
Ans. For Pre-Primary (Playgroup to Class 5) 2 Kanal or above (owned/rented/leased). In case of rented/leased the contract must be of a period of 10 years.
19.Do we require obtaining any registration to run the school? How can our school get recognition from the education department?
Ans. The responsibility of the school registration is that of the franchisee with the local area education office.
20. What are the session commencement dates of the two school systems?
Ans. Regular Admissions in July-August March every year. (Preschool)
21. Will the franchisee have to invest in advertisement of the schools?
Ans. All the local advertisement will be done by the franchisee; however, nationwide advertisement in the leading newspapers and TV channels of Pakistan will be done by the Head Office
22. Will Head Office help the franchisee in launching the admission campaign?
Ans. Head Office will provide the basic planning for it. All the admission staff will be trained in advance in this concern.
23. Can franchisee hire the staff/teachers on their own?
Ans. The initial phase of hiring will be done by the consultation with HR department of Head Office. Especially hiring of the Principal should be through the approval of the head office.
24. Will there be separate campuses for boys and girls?
Ans. Yes as per requirement.
26. How tuition fee will be charged?
Ans. On quarterly basis.
27. Will the franchisee develop their own educational polices regarding running of the school?
Ans. All the educational polices will be implemented through head office. However franchisee can suggest his view to the head office.
28. How will the head office help the franchisee regarding stationery, study material, study plan, uniforms, furniture etc.?
Ans. Head Office will ensure that all the stationery material including note books, text books and uniforms are provided to the franchisee along with a well-designed academic study plan to ensure the smooth functioning of the academic operations. All classrooms related specially designed furniture and playgroup equipment will be provided by the head office/authorized vendors. All Classroom themes, decorations, color schemes, playing area equipment will be as per Head Office recommendations.
29. Can a franchise open more than one branch in a city?
Ans. We would be delighted to have successful franchisees opening multiple School branches we recommend that only to open more campus if current campus is at breakeven stage or there is some partnership for opening other campus.
31. What if, the franchisee is short of approximate investment amount?
Ans. To run school system any shortage of the finances can put the project in danger, so in this case we do not encourage the applicant.
32. Is there any kind of hidden cost?
Ans. There are no hidden costs.
33. What can be the location of the new branch in the same city?
Ans. Head Office always prefers old franchisee whenever head office gets application for any new franchise branch to open in the same city. In case the current franchisee is not willing to open. We will award the location to new franchisee. The location of the new branch will be 4km away from the existing campus.
